Venice junior shot to death

first_imgVENICE – An 11th-grader was shot and killed Monday in the faculty parking lot at Venice High School, Los Angeles police said. The shooting occurred just after school let out at around 3:10 p.m. at Venice Boulevard and Greenwood Avenue. The 16-year-old junior was taken to the hospital in critical condition and later died, said Officer Mike Lopez of the Los Angeles Police Department.
