Barry is a director of Crosscause that has engaged in the re-housing of orphans, providing care homes to transfer them from state institutions and look after them in fully equipped new or converted facilities. The charity also is branching out into other activities, such as the summer camp, to aid the poor and needy in Romania and nearby Moldova. It regularly sends truck loads of aid to the countries, and Conor Hughes who instigated the foundation of the charity is travelling out there in the next number of weeks.
