Hyderabad: Education Minister G Jagadish Reddy on Friday was hailed by the villagers for his presence of mind and organising a rescue of two youngsters trapped in a car which turned turtle. According to the reports reaching here on Friday, the Minister was on a visit to the districts to participate in party membership drive and the Telangana Ku Haritha Haram (TKHH), besides other programmes. The Minister’s convoy had come to a grinding halt when it reached Ginjaluru village under Chivvelam mandal on national highway 65. Also Read – Hyderabad: Intermediate student dies of cardiac arrest in class Advertise With Us Amidst the heavy downpour, a car travelling from Vijayawada to Hyderabad ahead of the Minister’s vehicle turned turtle as its tyres got punctured. The Minister ran to the car in which two youngsters were struggling to come out of the car but in vain, as the doors were not opening. The security staff accompanying the Minister and others joined the rescue and helped the youngsters trapped inside the car come out safely. The Minister said that fortunately no one was injured and even those two trapped inside the car miraculously escaped unhurt.
